This overnight camp provides a unique athletic experience: learn from one of the World's best squash players on court and develop mental grit and leadership skills off court. The all-star group of women leading the charge will take the girls through a rigorous week of squash, technique & movement analysis, mental strategy, psychology, and leadership training. Amherst College boasts 10 air-conditioned courts, a beautiful campus and town center within short walking distance. Despite the serious schedule we still find time to throw down at karaoke night!!

The squash curriculum will cover all areas of the game, themed each day, with match play in the afternoons. Laura sprinkles in her mental strategy practices within each day's playing theme to tie the knot between mental and physical application. The morning is dedicated to learning and practice, while the afternoon is dedicated to executing the morning's learnings in a competitive play environment. Off court, campers will take part in leadership and empowerment workshops and activities, as well as a sports psychology workshop on confidence. It is not only our goal to have each girl leave the camp improved as a squash player, but to empower our next generation of leaders through sport.

Additionally: this year we will have up and coming female PSA pro tour players training alongside our camp and joining evening mental/leadership sessions, and campers will have options to either join in on their training after our afternoon sessions or join a yoga session, pool swim, or free time. Participants are emailed in the spring with the final daily schedule and a questionnaire to help make the experience as specific to their goals as possible.

This Camp is open to girls entering grades 7 through 12. Please note that financial assistance, sibling discounts, and multi-week camp attendance discounts are available.
